A lifer, Tim seems to have had skills as a brickmaker/stonemason, and is said to have contributed to the building of Lansdowne Bridge, St Luke's Liverpool, etc; he worked as a farmhand as well. A land grant on the George's River turned him to agriculture full time - he was never very successful, although his descendants farmed the block until the 1960s, in later decades as a vineyard and winery. The original stone house stood on the farm until recent years. Tim's deathbed will is a joy, demonstrating his concern for his family, especially 'the little ones'.

hi megan just read your e-mail requesting some information ref james and mary freeman, if you could let me know what you would like i will try and help out, james arrived first fleet on the ship "alexander"
mary arrived on the ship mary ann/e second fleet , they never married as mary was already married when she was sent here from england we think she was married to a william edwards, after she left james freeman around 1800 her partner was abraham martin. james died at windsor 28 jan 1830,
mary died 28 jun 1833 "willow grove" farm liverpool rd nsw aged 70+, james and mary had two daughters , mary born 21 aug 1792 and died 5 oct 1801, berthia born 1 dec 1794 married timothy hoy / hay 11 may 1811 ( this marriage was held the same day as abraham martin died ) berthia died 28 dec 1864 liverpool nsw, timothy hoy born circa 1785 eng. died 28 jul 1838, buried 1 august 1838 , occ brick maker (was convict 1807) berthia and timothy had 10 children , which encluded a set of twins, i am decendant of this couple, susannah married john coleman , a son of another convict john coleman snr, and a mary beman also a convict. mary edwards and abraham martin also had a daughter sussanna, and she married a john dixon.
